“It’s the relationship that heals, the relationship that heals, the relationship that heals - my professional rosary.”
-Irvin D. Yalom
About Me
My name is Zeynep, I am a BACP- accredited therapist and clinical supervisor. My undergraduate degree is in Psychology (BSc Hons), 2000, and my postgraduate clinical training is integrative. This means I draw on a range of therapeutic models including psychodynamic, person-centred, transpersonal and solution focused therapies.
After graduating (2007), I spent the first 10 years working for a community-based counselling service, followed by a role within an NHS GP practice. This means I have experience of working with a wide range of people, across different settings and backgrounds. In 2016 I decided to set up in private practice, this is where you find me now. I am also a trained couples counsellor and a clinical assessor.
How I Work
My aim is to provide a safe psychological space where you can explore whatever you are struggling with, or is unresolved - whether that’s anxiety, stress, relationship issues, or something harder to define. My role is to help find the solutions that make sense to you, wherever you are in your life.
Ultimately it's your space to talk about whatever you need to.
