Confidentiality
The sessions are confidential, unless I think you are at risk of harming yourself, or someone else.
Sessions
Sessions last for 50 minutes.
Fees
Session fees start from £80
I am BUPA, WPA and Healix registered, so if you have insurance check if your policy covers mental health, your fee may be covered.
Payment
You can pay in cash, by cheque or BACS transfer before, at, or after the session.
Should you experience any difficulties with making payment (s), please discuss this with me as soon as possible.
I operate a standard therapeutic contract which mean that missed sessions are to be paid for. I am happy try to reschedule sessions you may not be able to make. Please see below.
I will review my fees annually providing at least one month’s notice of any increase in price.
Cancelled and Missed Sessions
Cancellations or missed sessions must be paid for. If a cancellation on your side becomes necessary, these incur a charge of your regular session fee.
In the event of my having to cancel a session, I will offer an alternative time and give you as much notice as possible. There is of course no charge where I have to cancel a session.
Scheduled Breaks
I tend to take 2 weeks off at Easter and Christmas, and the summer break is throughout August. I occasionally take the week of half term.
Boundaries
I understand there may be times when contact between us is necessary outside of our booked session time. I do check my emails and phone messages regularly but I must advise that I am not always able to respond straight away.
· I shall not make contact with you outside of our sessions unless I need to change a scheduled session
· Our relationship will remain a professional therapeutic relationship
· The boundaries of our relationship will be discussed during our first meeting and should be maintained by both parties.
